Dr. Jacque Trim sets out in her dissertation to address a very critical pandemic within the Black church community. The Millennials have been leaving by the masses. Our Black Millennials have been negatively impacted by the whitewashed myth that there are no Blacks in the Bible, the Bible is irrelevant and Christianity is a White man’s religion. Dr. Trim in her attempt to dismantle these long upheld lies, has been able to show the Blackness of the Bible and how God not only included Blacks from early biblical history but has used them in great significant ways which shows His love for all people and nations, including Black people. It is hoped that our Millennials will begin to do their personal research journies for the answers they are seeking and find that the God who said He loved the WORLD, that He gave His Son, He was also referring to Black people. No more lies, only the truth and it must start with the church.
